Re: Barnes Wallis

Towards the end of my time at Housey I had the privilege of meeting Sir Barnes Wallace on a few occasions. Unfortunately never on a one to one basis but as part of small groups. Re: Films at CH Horsham

Two films at Horsham I remember being shown were ones that were barred from general release "Culloden" 1964 and the TV documentary "War Game" 1965. They were only shown at CH because it came under the same category a "Private Club". War Game was deemed too shocking for ...

Re: 50 years ago, in the snow.

My biggest disappointment was that after the initial phase of snow, which for us started on Boxing day, somehow my mother managed to take advantage of a lull in the weather and got me back to school for the whole Lent term. It was my last year in Prep A and my main memory was of ice on the inside of...

Re: More sad news

Ron Lorimer was a breath of fresh air in what to me was a pretty claustrophobic school atmosphere. JH I have sent you a personal email reply re KOBs
My printable reply to the Medway question is that the river does not know the rules. At its nearest point to Paddock Wood it flows West to East only turning North at Yalding. looks like you and I (in Tonbridge) are in "no-mans -land"
