Sorry to see from The Blue that Eileen Downing has died, hope she enjoyed her life, RIP; also Barbara Borgers is in the same list. I suppose we are at an age where this familiarity with such named individuals can only increase, perhaps I will take out my chapel hat tonight as a mark of remembrance.

Choices after University are now more difficult

As many students are now discovering a degree does not get a job any more, and for those who can afford it internships are often the only way forward (as I have discovered with a daughter just completed Part 1 in Architecture at Glasgow School of Art) so I think the site should have a forum for this...

Yes all very sad indeed but Bill did have a son now in his mid twentys with his italian wife. Hope his life is happier, he is in the Uk to see his dad and aunts ashes buried together on Thursday at Golders Green.

I know a bit about Leslie as she remained in touch with Carola Combe(nee Curwen) Leslie had a very unusual life as I recall and it may be someone via Carolas friends and family (who I am still in touch with) knows where she is.
