Re: A day by the seaside (aka Husband's folly)

Graham, It's great to hear from you on here. Regarding your incident, I specifically remember this to this day, as we were good friends at the time, you were very concerned. You came back one afternoon/evening and explained to me what had happened and how anxious you were about it. I also remember ...

Re: Another charge

I am going to lock this topic for now. Right to bring it to the Forum’s attention, and in would like to encourage anyone with any information (whether related or otherwise) to contact the police directly. I too felt RM was an excellebt caring teacher for what it’s worth, but what do any of us know, ...

Re: A day by the seaside (aka Husband's folly)

I for one feel sad that Tim appears to have done what he said, and gone. I knew of him in my time at CH, but don't believe our paths crossed directly. Having input from staff from the the era of this abuse is extremey valuable on this forum, and I’d hope that more staff, past and present, feel able ...

I've just reinstalled and enabled the Tapatalk plugin.
Can you give it a go, and let me know if it's findable, and working OK?

Re: When You Left CH, Did You Cease to Have Access to the Musical Instrument You'd Learned How to Play?

I was a ‘cellist and sang a lot at CH - music was definitely one of the biggest and best things I took away from CH, and my vast majority of close friends were from music. I’d been lucky enough to play a loan instrument whilst at CH, which was amazing quality. When I left my 18th birthday present fr...

Re: A day by the seaside (aka Husband's folly)

Good they were there - if they’d NOT been there then that would have been appalling. With the ongoing investigation which sounds like it’s happening, who knows what advice the school is being given re contact and support of those reporting abuse to them - I’ve no expertise to authoritatively comment...

Re: TapaTalk installed for iPhone/Android access

Having looked at the stats, I didn’t re-add TapaTalk after the last major upgrade.
Very happy to re-install and configure it though if there are people wanting to use it?

Re: A day by the seaside (aka Husband's folly)

Thank you Richard for taking so much time and expense to go to the sentencing, and providing such a clear summary of what happened. Good to see Husband sentenced. Let's see what further charges come for Dobbie - I can't imagine he suddenly stopped abusing when he left CH, given he continued in a sch...

Re: Donations for the running of the CH Forum - August 2015

Extra funds are always appreciated - I’ve not made a request for a good while, and with everything else going on it’s felt a little inappropriate.

But all donations are very grateful received - thanks!
