Re: Residential assessment?

Re: Residential assessment?

Thank you Howard.

Sadly for my daughter, the only doors that will be opening lead to the two catchment schools, both of which are in "Special Measures".

Re: Residential assessment?

Well, the post lady kept her word. Unfortunately she delivered the post to our neighbour who has only just brought it round. Now I wish she hadn't. Its a big "No" for us too. Not even a reserve list. Some baloney about King Edwards School. Sloppy seconds? No thanks... Whilst I'm wary of ma...

Re: Residential assessment?

Thank you fra828. Still nothing. The lovely woman from the sorting office promised me that she would deliver my post on the way home if there wasn't time to do the round, but that was an hour ago, so I suspect there was nothing for her to deliver. :( Such a waste of a day. @ marhop18 I am so very so...

Re: Residential assessment?

Oh, this is really not a good day for the Post Office to be so short staffed that they've given my round to a new person to do once she's finished her other new out in the sticks round.... :(

Please will someone just put me out of my misery!

Re: Residential assessment?

Facebook? How very dare you! Not this girl, lord no... I just realised that the best way to take my mind off CH was to avoid this forum, for a start... Tis very quiet here though, considering 200 kids were at the residential. Anyway, to answer the question, and please bear in mind that ...

Mine too. Loved the food, had a great time.

4 and a half weeks. Not that I've counted or anything.. :)

So other Parents-in-Waiting, what shall we do to take our minds off CH until then?

(apart from work and other boring stuff. I mean fun things..)

Re: Residential assessment?

Well, she's there! Tis all in the lap of the Gods now... And I get 24 hrs of peace and quiet. Result! :D I do wish that I didn't have the nagging worry that even if she does get through, I might not be able to afford the fees they will ask for. Having to say, off you go, do your best, but bear in mi...
