Re: Did I dream this?
If you had School Cricket Colours you had a very posh cravat with diagonal yellow stripes. Cravats were for seniors only. But do you remember the grey felt sunhats for juniors, to be worn, in the words of the rule-book, 'unadorned and in the proper shape'? Sunhats and cravats were in complementary ...

Re: Cross-country runs
One of our runs in Maine B (late '50s early '60s) was the Broadbridge Mill Loop. An essential piece of equipment was a small wad of cotton wool. You put it in your matchbox to stop the matches from rattling. One or two pillboxes on the route IIRC. A housing estate by now I imagine.

Found - and lost. Sadly, Alan, aka Squish or Muggles, died in 2002. At that time he was living just a stone's throw from CH at Brooks Green.
His nickname, Muggles, predated Harry Potter by quite some time

Alan Munro
Does anyone know what happened to Alan Munro (AGM Munro)? He was in Maine B from 1957 to about 1964. He was House Captain in his final year. I know he went up to Jesus College, Cambridge. The last time I heard from him, in the late '60s, he was in the Dolomites. I should very much like to know what ...
