Re: Less flamboyant CH teachers

certain restrictions on publishing such information less than 100 years after death You can publish what you like about someone who's dead. And truth is a defence against libel anyway. Re: CH in Art

Checking out the website for the "Impressionists in London" exhibition which has just opened at Tate Britain, I note that it includes a painting by James Tissot called "London Visitors" which depicts some important looking members of the bourgeoisie plus a couple of Housey boys. Do CH pupils crop u...

Re: Strange old man dressed in WW1 army gear / dog named lobster

Did this ever get played at lunchtime and if so how many people got punished for going into a John Cleese silly walk? " The Liberty Bell " which was written by John Phili...

Was that the same episode with Kate Winslet, one of the topics being The Mountain Between Us ? (which my wife an...

In fact, a film was made in French long before the novel was published in Britain. But in those days, there was no video. (Actually, Lady Chatter...

Sentinej,
Could that have been 'Bhowani Junction' by John Masters, which was about the last days of the Raj and considered rather 'racy' at the time?
David
Also made into a very good film.

Is it not only three years since the entire kitchen block was stripped out and totally re-equipped?
Glad to see that the school is awash with money for such grandiose plans!
