My recollection is that they were all (save Burr) given standard determinate sentences which means that they will be automatically released at the halfway point. In theory they are eligible to be released on Home Detention Curfew (tag) four and a half months before the halfway point but in practice ...

These things have gone in phases.
They went through scout masters, then care homes, then young offenders institutions, the entertainment (Saville, DLT etc) " then football coaches.

I remember four different doors to the outside plus the tube led straight up into the boarding houses.

There was a road out on Big Side onto Three Mile Ash (?). It wasn't that far to the Bax from there.
I remember being told that a the gates were locked one day a year to prevent the school roads becoming a public highway. I am sure that day was Christmas Day.

In principle the answer is yes, but I doubt any police force would release such information to a member of the public.

As he is dead he can't be prosecuted, but the investigation may have been kept open in case anyone else came forward.
