Thankyou for keeping us fully briefed on your progress. I have trawled back through this thread but have been unable to find information on how we can add our names to this petition. Have I missed a link?

Re: So, the underground tunnels...
John I apologise for going off topic, but just wanted to say I enjoyed your other photos on Flikr especially "On the hills- 1970's" they are very evocative of that period and what it was like to take to the hills then. I still enjoy being in the mountains today but maybe not as adventurous...

My nephew is there today and tomorrow (took them 8 hours to get to Horsham yesterday). Thinking of him and all the others, can't wait to see how it went.

Re: Invitation To Contact Ukranian Ladies
I had had those adverts for a while but then they disappeared, they're back today. Apparently there is a string of chinese women who want to marry me. They will be so disappointed when they find out I'm already married (and 60 in February).

Brother Angelo, I remember him well. He has come up in a previous thread. I think John Robson must have invited him.

Now you've got me worried Howard. I think I have a distinct memory of this. We need Andy Miller back on here to give us his memories as well. Haven't heard from him recently.HowardH wrote:Seriously, Andy ? I have no recollection of that at all.

Re: Buglers
They played throughout my time at CH 65-72. A haunting (but fond) memory of them playing on dark winter's evenings.

Re: Pranks in Chapel
I must admit my favourite bit of the law is
"vex, or trouble, or by any other unlawful means disquiet or misuse any preacher"
It conjures up wonderful images of vexed and disquieted preachers.
