Can we get transcripts?

Does anyone know if transcripts of the trial of Dobbie and Husband would be available? If so, is it a case of applying to the relevant transcription service and paying the fee?

Many thanks.

If it is roughly 95-96-97 maybe (I think he skipped a year due to illness) have a pretty good idea of who this is, I think I know them fairly well.

Re: Dobbie's departure

Interesting wording from the then head of Shrewsbury School when announcing that Dobbie had “decided to retire”...I think not! Paragraph 4 https://www.shrewsbury.org.uk/sites/default/files/uploads/files/welcome/HMsLetterToParents_Sep2016.pdf And yet in the press the school statement read, “The scho...

Mike O'Connor head of Art 90s era

Sad to hear that Mr O'Connor is no longer with us, I have no knowledge of how/why/when but read a post online by someone who was reminiscing about him and that he had passed. Many many hours spent in the art school, many of them with him, a good man, could be tough, but for all the right reasons. He...

Your mum on toast !

What the hell does/did it mean? I remember it was some kind of insult or retort. Was it only a CH thing or does anyone know of non-old blues who used it?

Paul Deller, artist in residence when I was at CH, was taught by Mike O'Conner who I believe he replaced as head of art.

Best teacher

My all time favourite has got to be Dr Ross Stuart, He was housemaster of Maine A in my senior years and had taught me English as a junior. I have nothing but fond memories, respect and thanks for the man who helped me grow. He was always fair, (and I'm sure still is), and treated us with respect an...

Flights to Brisbane, Australia.

Does anyone have any tips or recommendations on where I can get a cheap air ticket to Australia, I'm going at the very beginning of November, the best I've seen is £673 which seems a bit steep. Any help appreciated.

("5 minutes turkish" - name the quote!) Peter Szakacs (As Charlie) says it to Turkish (Jason Statham) in the Guy Ritchie Film "Snatch". I'm sure everyone knows that Old Blue Jason Flemyng has a small part as Darren. See more of Flemyng in Guy Ritchies Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Spent far t...

Lousey

Can't believe that Lousey has been carried on. Fantastic, I remember being in Maine A when Stuart Abercrombie started it. At one point it was banned so the following week instead of Lousey on the notice board people were greeted with Not Lousey! Genius. Long may it carry on.
