This is good Mr Perry. Member for over a year and your second post is regarding a dog "NOT to be called Ethel. Hmmmm, well that would depend on how well behaved the dog is ......... I just can't envisage any of our dogs returning to heel if I were trying to bellow 'Eth-el-dre-da! She was, as you say, very kind when you were ill or injured. She was very kind indeed, and I remember her telling me that she was Dutch.
