Re: The Manual School

Mr Stratton sadly died of cancer - awesome teacher in my last two years at that school.

Mr Williams, Mr Robinson, Mr Snook, Mr Whitehouse and Mr (small northern bloke) were all resident when I was there. Loved that building and spent my last two years practically living in there doing projects.

Cigarettes and baccy were procured at any number of shops in Horsham...the most popular being the one just over the railway bridge as that as th...

Using a skeleton key and taking wine from the staffroom resulted in a few nights at the now infamous Peter Ball's house down near the coast. Just glad I wasn't among the boys who are now all over the news having spent time with him and his 'special friends'.... I must have missed this snippet of go...

They were a good n=bunch in the Manny then....Grimshaw, Robinson, Williams, Whitehouse, Snook and McKenna. Spent many hours for my A'Levels living in there. Goo...

Being called in at break to the chapel. Tongues guessing at what it was. That must have been particularly difficult for Dobbie and Poulton to tell us...

Sad times.

Thanks for that - some fantastic nostalgia there!! Almost brings a tear...
