What a sad thread. In my day a boy called Richard Sears Mullins was found hanged, by "Bomber" Nicholson if I remember rightly, in Leigh Hunt A downstairs toilets. He was later buried in Itchingfield Cemetery. We were told it was "an experiment that went wrong" and I never subsequently heard anything...

Does anybody know firstly if there is such a thing? Secondly where it is if it exists? Thirdly is it open to Old Blues?

I'm struggling to recall Pegleg's name. Pearson or Pearsall comes to mind but I rather think he was the School Dentist. The Wardrobe chap was Mr Henderson. He was a National Standard Roadwalker in his youth, I believe with Steyning AC which had a good reputation for producing high standard road walk...

Tim, Look under DISSOLVED companies on the Companes House website. Hedgemanor Limited appears there. It appears that a list of members was filed on 23/5/97. For £1 it is possible to obtain a copy of that list. Looking at the Trustees of the Charity, disclosed on another thread, at least one has p...

It's no big deal but I just wondered why the first part of my post relating to Mean Machine got chopped. I don't recall swearing or anything!:-)

At least one of the Charity Trustees listed has professional contacts with property companies and businesses.

That could well be mere coincidence. I am in no position to comment whether it is or not.

However have those closer to this matter, Spiderlegs for example, considered this aspect?

CH Filmstar and TV Beethoven Presenter

Just watched Mean Machine, starring ex footballer Vinny Jones, on the box. Jason Flemyng, an Old Blue I understand, played a cameo as one of the commentators on the match between the Cons and the Guards. Vinny and Jason also appeared together in Lock, Stock And two Smoking Barrels and Snatch. There ...

Good news about Higgins being in the England Squad. PF Higgins was a junior housemaster in Mid A when I entered the house. Has Housey ever had a senior rugby international? What happened to the other Housey guy that played for England Schools at the same time as Higgins? Does he still play and if so...

Michael Jackson was allegedly bored one night in the hotel where he is staying during the duration of his trial. He said to his bodyguard "how about getting a dvd to watch?" The bodyguard asked Michael what he would like him to get: "Alladin" said Michael. "Hasn't that got you in enough trouble alre...

Remember me to your dad Great Plum. The name is Andy Miller. I was in Maine A between 65 and 68 (your dad came in 66 to Maine A) and Mid A from 68 to 72.

I saw your dad briefly at the Old Blues versus Old England cricket match at CH.

Agreed that it is good news the cricket team is doing well. A nice tribute to the memory of Ken Suttle if nothing else. I remember reading a year or two ago that a Housey boy (? Kruger or similar name) won a Wisden cricket award. Cricket seems to be looking up at CH. Congratulations to the Master in...

Thanks for the info on the Athletics track Great Plum. I wonder how they do field events like the jumps without a sandpit?
