My son has been selected for the Cricket Tour at Easter next year but unfortunately we can't be there on Saturday night. My son will be helping though - look out for him - he's the good looking dark haired one - looks just like his mum

Hope you have a great time.

Yes, thank you Gemma - what a really sweet gesture :) My children have been there a while now - GE & LE - so pretty much used to it (though I don't think I'll ever get used to saying Goodbye to them)! I do take heart in the absolute knowledge that they love their CH life. Even after 4 years I st...

Again, I found the site by googling and I do think it would be ve...

In our case it was definitely a matter of poorly performing state schools in our area including our designated senior school which is under "Special Measures". Our children were lucky enough to go to independent prep schools but the senior school fees were prohibitive and CH was the perfec...

PS: Meant to say we were at CH for a rugby match at the weekend - the new head was showing great support to our teams - seemed like a very nice man IMO!

Why, thank you kindly for the welcome J.R. :D I have found this site invaluable since my children have been at CH - I know far more from here than from the Official website or the letters home (which are all e-mailed now by the way including the reports) As for the letter writing thing, well ...

I think we still have the stamped addressed postcards somewhere - I don't think I ever received one even though the post box was in sight of his House  The trouble with the Leave Weekends is that I find the children are exhausted on the Friday night, sleep in late on the Saturday and don't real...

Hi, I am another lurker coming out of the woodwork! I've got 2 children at CH - a GE and and LE and can well remember those first few weeks with both of them. Even now after 4 years I find it very difficult to say goodbye and the Leave Weekends are the worst of all as they fly by. This is a great we...
