Just saw the ten second glimpse of the Band at the Lord Mayor's Show behind those Cutlers on the BBC and nearly deafened my husband in my squeal of delight of "That's my School!". Sadly only a brief glimpse for us this year - KES Witley got more time than us (Bah Humbug - and they had the ...

I've got some friends who heard him a year ago or so, and they really want to see him again (as do I).

I know he's based at a "club in London" - but that's it....

Phooee.

Harry

"Harry" the pianist did a couple of shows at CH twixt 88-95. I'd love to see him again. Anyone know where he can be seen nowadays? (preferably in London). I've tried looking on tinterweb <sic> and I don't think I'm looking in the right place.

Cheers VM.

When I worked at CH they tried to broaden the amount of memorabilia (sp). Things they looked for were an unofficial CH Emblem - for which the "CH" that was on the iron work on the old school desks and appears on the drain pipe tops was used. And they also looked for the "School Motto&...

Hmm. I'm from Horsham. Hubby is from Tunbridge Wells. I would never, ever, ever live in either. House prices are over inflated and they're sooooo "provincial". I went to the TW post Remembrance Sunday Parade drinks in the TW Town Hall with the Mayor et al last year (Hubby's TA Unit were on...

I guess it dependson the nature of the show. When I went to Going Live (that Saturday morning show with Philip Schofield back in the late eighties) on my third form, we were there from 6am. My husband and I were on a big BBC game show in 1999 called 2000-1 (we were hoping to win a year off work! - i...
