Talking about school holidays the other day and my mum said "you didn't have half terms when you were at CH did you?" Which got me thinking. Did we? I really can't remember The only holidays I remember were the longer ones such as Easter, Xmas, Summer.

Back in my day ( ) the juniors wore yellow socks and seniors wore grey tights. Everyone had to wear yellow socks for "special" occasions as far as I remember.

They've only just gone back!

I didn't even know you could get an A* in A levels! Thought it was only in GCSEs.

They were sent by post back in 1986 & 1988 when I did O and A levels. Think we must have received the results a day after those who were at local schools. That was back in the day when sending post 1st class actually arrived the next day

I had always assumed that if you were presented then some or all of your fees would be paid for by the person presenting you. I am still not exactly sure why someone who is presented should be guaranteed a place over others if this is not the case? I am glad that I am not the only one who appears to...
