Same feeling when I read the list Andy, I suppose statistically I should have known but still shocks when you read the names. Some I already knew about but others I didn't and some I do know about are not on the list. I don't know statistically how many we should have expected to be honest Andrew b...

I remember Howard's own art work clearly. Including a large oil painting of a bumble bee (perhaps an early link with John Ruskin) that John Robson purcased from him. I met Howard a few years ago at Brantwood (well worth a visit if anyone is near Conniston, it's a beautiful house in a beautiful place).

Yes it is DLA . My enquiries have proved that 75% or thereabouts of all GENUINE white Bitish claiments are being suspended on 'Call Me Dave's' orders. The tribunal system is already overloaded. We have obtained a full medical report from our own G.P., at great expense, which I WILL be claiming back...

Hopefully Kerren will give a definative explanation. I always thought a donation governor makes a donation to the school and therby is given the right to nominate a child. The donation just goes in the big pot.

Chris, I'm not sure blackboard has ever been an unpolitical word, it's the fact that most children have never seen one, what you find in a modern classroom is a white board and confusing to children if it's called a blackboard.
