Re: Driving Licence Expiry Date

Apparently the way around it is that a change of address is free and you get to send a new photo, hence if your house suddenly acquires a new name you can get the updated licence for 10 years, or move to aq mates house for a week then move back

Some of the older people on here may be able to add flesh to a family story My great grandad was science master (and muscician) at CH in the early part of last century (I don't know the years but I have a picture of him by the lead water tank outside a very new looking new science school). He lived ...

Re: Deputy Grecian-2007+

Silchester / Dorchester on thames is good. Dorchester basically became local centre after christianity came in. Taking over from Silchester which is thought to have ended up deserted due to die hard roman traditionalists living there until they died away to a hamlet while the go ahead people moved t...

Leigh Hunt A & B to prep block Maine B to LHA Remember taking a smoke sensor off the day room (bottom dorm) ceiling with a rugby ball and setting it off once. Used to get 3 fire engines out 2 from Horsham and the Simon Snorkel from I think Crawley. When the girls first started coincided with the...

Re: Nifty trick with the house payphones

You could have a phone with a 3 digit number in your study for I think £5 a term, it only rang internally to other such phones, I believe O'Meara had something to do with it. Alas standard very late Saturday night tri...
