Re: Response from the Head Master
A victim of almost every sexual offence has lifelong anonymity in the media in respect of any publication about the offence(a) committed against him/her. The victim may waive that anonymity. During the earlier stages of the proceedings against Carl Beech, he was given anonymity and was referred as N...

Re: Response from the Head Master
I don't have in mind an unconditional admission of liability by the school. But where individuals have reported events to the police, made statements and helped secure convictions, I believe that the school should be paying for counselling and therapy without question. Those people without doubt are...

Re: Response from the Head Master
Presumably Charles the school has been told by the insurers to admit nothing and agree nothing in case it is construed as an admission of liability.

Re: Response from the Head Master
My first question is very simple Rob.
Will the school pay for counselling and therapy for all who require it, without condition or limitation?

Re: Letter to Head Master
Rev Atkinson was a MaA house tutor 80 -5. Not sure how long before that though. Unusual for a Housemaster to then go back to being a tutor, but maybe less stress. And Housemasters tended to do at least 10 years on average, some more. I think Jones? may have been MidB Housemaster in 1980? Jeffers Pe...

Re: Letter to Head Master
Hayden will have been at the school when I started but I don't remember him. Burr's nautical adventures started while he was at the school and continued after he was moved on - goodness only knows why. I remember that there was a photo of his narrow boat in the Blue in about 1973. It had the school ...

Re: Letter to Head Master
The work you are doing is incredible Rob. You deserve proper recognition.
It is truly shocking that the school won't even pay for counselling for victims. It may claim to be reaching out to the victims, but it isn't reaching very far.

Lest it be thought we are talking in riddles, she was shown to be wanting in the exercise of her duties during Karim's trial.
