DD tells me that cloaks are available if required (rain etc) but make the uniform very bulky and heavy (and straight out of Hogwarts)!

Delighted to see both the photos and to see that the girls now use the same oldfashioned uniform (except for the cut-away button-grecian style coat collar), but - was that normal hair or was it red dye behind Louise? As far as I could make out, these pupils will be included in the 7 and it's taking effect from September! I don't think weekly boarding would be an option at all as the day pupils will still have to be back for Saturday school and presumably compulsory Chapel on a Sunday - hardly worth the effort of...

It is my understanding (and this is second hand from my child who was at the HM's announcement this morning) that for every 7 new pupils there will be one full fee payer and one day pupil from the 2nd form upwards. My daughter was very poorly and hospitalised from CH a few years ago and Kate made a horrible and distressing situation so much easier to deal with.

The exams that are happening this week will be repeated in the summer series. The exam boards can't really cancel them as plenty of schools are funcitoning and plenty of students are ready to sit.
