It isn't the routine costs of maintenance / fluctuations in the stock market etc that has created the present financial crisis at the school. It's an ill-conceived, poorly managed 'masterplan' that has drained awa...

I'm with Hendrik on this. If CH wants to become something it was not founded to be, then it should stop promoting itself on values it no longer believes in? As for Old Blue opinion being largely irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, then the school's website (just as one example) is obviously ta...

CH pupils seem quite capable of seeinf beyond income and looking at the person not their parents bank balance. It is also somewhat unfair to assume that pupils whose parents can afford to pay a fee of £6-9K a year should necessarily undermine the ethos of the school. A number of pupils at CH wer...

Re: C.H. and Public Relations
I have read comments elsewhere about staff being evicted, and Horsham District Council's relationship with C.H. not being all that it might be. I guess that's coming from me. However I would like to make clear I'm not saying HDC is having a bad time with CH! Just obviously with some policies it is ...

As for raising money, it is important to realise that the school costs millions to run and income is needed to supplement the income from the Foundation. I am not fearful of day pupils as long as they are integrated into the school carefully. After all, many of the best schools in the UK can and do...
