It was an inter house cross country race(s) (junior, intermediate, senior) held annually in the Lent Term. Mr Tall may well be referring to training for the event which those that aspired to w...

Don't we just love it?
If your innuendo is smutty Richard, try a chimney sweep !.

(I always thought an innuendo was another name for an Italian 'poof' ?)

Re: re shoz

Oh, so I am not the only one who has been curious about him - despite the nasty comments I have had from one or two people who seem to think I am being censorious, ignorant, petty etc etc. And can you tell me/us(and there are others who would like to know) what his answer was to your inquiry? Perha...

On the subject of 'Cottaging', who watched 'Balderdash & Piffle' on the box last night ?

That lovely part about Polari. It was truly 'Bona', and before you ask, No, I'm not. It just bought back so many youthful memories of listening to 'Round The Horn'.

I don't see any problem here.

Many people have a fascination in a subject they have no direct connection with.

We aren't a 'freemason' type forum, thank God. I wouldn't roll me trouser-leg up and wear a pinny for anyone ! A long blue coat and knee length yellow socks was bad enough !!

A "service" active is now compulsory, I believe, from UF onward - CCF, Scouts, Community Action, D of E, Ecology or Human Rights ........ Human Rights, Mrs C ? I would have thought that would have flown in the face of morality, given what the basic teaching of the CCF is ! 'Join the Army;...
