Who said anything about Sharpenhurst? Now I'm really confused.

This was a place on Col/Mid side on the quarter mile, nowhere near there.

And no, no special memories for me. Certainly not.

Think I was on the other side of the avenue.

Why do you ask Jolyon, do you have particular fond memories of the spot???!

Don't know where you mean exactly, but I'm not sure anywhere there had a name.

Oh, do you mean that strange triangular bit of ground where maybe they built Grecians East or West, West I suppose it would be?

There was a path through the middle and almost hedges down 2 sides.

Sorry if this has already been said, but did anyone else notice how all the smokers' bushes' names began with C? Apart from Music School Bush.

Not so popular with me, it seems...!

We've been used to the much smaller than A4 size Blue for years, actually as far back as the archive in the museum goes, bar a few years (I used to hang out there when at CH sometimes).

Ok. Thanks. Beginning to understand. If I had gin, I'm sure it would have made sense the first time. Hmm, might go and get some...

I'm sorry, I'm really intruiged. Where do the middle ladies come from and where do they go? What I mean is, are they like assistant matrons, do they live/work in that matron-y bit in-between the A side and B side of houses? I just can't imagine it that's all.

Already been asked, got the pics, currently writing the article, well I would be if I wasn't here... It was good, there were loads of people but the free wine lasted longer than I would have expected from a CH bunch. I think, when I get round to writing it, that the article's going to be on the CHA ...

Don't you mean matron? And why do they have to be female? I know it's rare but it's not unheard of for a male to fold socks. Your Mr Elvin is, I would suggest, a potential example, although I'd need to see proof of this.

And why middle?
