Kerren, a £13,000 drop in price isn't bad in the current market. It's been far worse in other parts of the country. We sold our father's house (on the Norfolk Broads) in July this year after 14 months on the market and at a much lower price than the original asking price. I think the original price...

Yes, well, the way some of the 'older' old Blues go on, with 'in my day, we didn't get a word from Mother for a month and are better for it ' pilloried is exactly how I felt I might be.....albeit in a metaphorical way! YadaYada, I can't imagine any of us oldies - certainly not the Hertford brigade ...

Lil was my housemistress too and though she was a stickler for the rules she wasn't unkind. I think she had our best interests at heart in a remote kind of way.
