Have just had my letter from the head etc., and a letter telling us that half-term in the Summer is now Friday 1st June, which I am happy about, BUT...what is happening to Speech Day? I had it in my diary for the 2nd. Anyone know?

In the last edition of Housey! which came with the end of term report just before Christmas

I will email her and ask her to go to the forum. In an odd roundabout sort of way, her being at CH and learning all that music, meant that she taught me singing, which meant that I sang with my daughter, which means that MY daughter loves singing and is now loving her music at CH; full circle! Happy...

It is the norm and schools would say that it is to find out who is a serious applicant. I have to say that CH is a lot less than most - we had to pay a registration fee of £80 per child when they went to a nursery dept in a private school.....13 years ago!

Gather there is an army camp just after they break up for the Summer hols. I know it is actually quite affordable (Hoorah!) - just wondered whether any parents out there had DDs or DSs who had been on it in recent years and did they enjoy it/find it useful? Think it would be a "good thing"...
