Re: Aqua Manda

Remember the first hair conditioners? The heaven of non-tangled hair after shampooing? No 1 was a black and white bottle of "pure protein" conditioner, which claimed to mend split ends. Split ends, I believe, were high on our agenda, since we all tied our hair back with rubber bands. But ...

Re: Hertford to Horsham

LongGone, I think you have made an interesting point. Jo, I think Maria is still around. Apart from the shopping thing there just seemed to be so much more to do at Horsham. Hertford CH was so boring.

Re: We are chameleons....

My picture is of me in my hat. I have said I am so pleased to be middle-aged because I can wear flat shoes and warm clothes, and as long as you wear a neutral hat, no-one notices that it's the same one you wore last year.

Re: Hertford to Horsham

I have, always been interested in the "Hertford Experience" -- being so different from most of our memories of Horsham. On this Forum, we have heard horrifying tales of the punishments, meted out, and an apparent lack of sympathy from Teachers -- especially "DR" On the last Old ...

Re: We are chameleons....

John, unfortunately it is probably too late to take some sandpaper to that chip on your shoulder. It was the journalist who said that James D'Arcy was seen as 'posh' Franklin said that that Old Blues were chameleons and could blend in whatever the company. Like me, from Royal Ascot last week to Harl...

Re: We are chameleons....

The (hard copy) Sunday Times is less than the price of a pint.

Mainly about how James D'Arcy is going to be the next great British star, and a bit about his background, how he is always thought of as posh but he isn't really. Hence Franklin's comment.

Re: Interesting or funny links

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-13776954 Christie is my niece and will be on BBC Breakfast next Monday to talk about her experiences. Kerren will probably understand some of this, and I only have to take my glasses off to understand another part. I should have volunteered, a week without texts aski...

What a shock for you Kerren. Unfortunately I don't think I am going to be able to make either funeral as my colleague has just resigned with immediate effect and all the work is currently on my shoulders.
