There was a series of posts on it in the last few days..can't find it though. Uniform is now only for lessons, marching and outside events. Breakfast and lunch too. Not tea though...

Also for Theatre stuff, when the event is open to the public...

Matrons in houses habitually possess a few coats still. My experience is that of the new houses, where these would hang up in full view and easy access in the middle-ladies room which runs off the right of Matron's office (which of course is now on the top floor of the houses).

In my day (I sound old) there was a few nurses, a head nurse (a sister?) Mrs Avenell (who was kind of in charge of the sicker) Jon the ambulance man, the dentist and the orthodontist... The doctors came from Horsham Park surgery but the 'head' doctor for the school was Kazia(spl?) Isn't my quiche n...
