We bought our daughter DMs for her 17th birthday (the boots not the shoes) and she is still wearing them at 22. Not every day obviously but I bet she's still wearing them at 30. (she is a meeja person so can wear them to work). She has since bought a blue pair and floral pair herself.

At Hertford each house had a board above the fireplace upon which was painted (in gold) the names of the monitresses (mons) each year.
