We bought our daughter DMs for her 17th birthday (the boots not the shoes) and she is still wearing them at 22. Not every day obviously but I bet she's still wearing them at 30. (she is a meeja person so can wear them to work). She has since bought a blue pair and floral pair herself.

August to Easter lowest form prep finished at 7.25, back to house and straight upstairs.

After Easter bedtime was 7.45.

An OB friend on Facebook (and rarely on here) pointed this out last night and credits her with her career in dance. I can't think how we watched it at school, I know I watched it at home.

At Hertford each house had a board above the fireplace upon which was painted (in gold) the names of the monitresses (mons) each year. In the school hall was a similar set of boards showing the girls who had won major prizes at Prize-giving (Head Girl, service to the school etc). When the girls move...
