Thanks, Janet!

Personally I'm very happy to be involved. I'm sure we'll all do our best to live up to everyone's expectations.

It's good to know that we have the goodwill of so many friends on the forum - I am sure that we will need the advice, friendship and support of all of you in the months ahead.

(Oh! .... and I think I am the great-granddaddy of the bunch! lol)

Great to have both of you on board - excellent!

If nobody's mentioned yet, one of the penalties of being on the board is having to provide a current and CH uniform photo for the CHA website, and a brief summary - I look forward to receiving them from you!

I'm not sure if photography had been invented when I was at CH.

Err, yes, well I'm working on that one!

I don't have a digital camera (yet) or a recent photo, but I'll ask someone to take one.

I have a couple of me in C.H. uniform, but all are group photos, I think. I'll ask my mum if she has anything that isn't too embarrassing......

Don't be so bashful, Dave! There must be a few old Daguerrotypes knocking around!

I know I have seen a photo of Kerren in uniform online, and certainly when I saw her 10 years ago she looked exactly the same.
