Zoe and Wendy would like to say thank you for the Flowers

Post by Zoe Mitchell »

Wendy and I received a lovely bunch of flowers this morning "With Love from an Old Blue"...

We'd love to call up and say thank you, but unfortunately we don't have any clues about who sent them! We've wracked our brains to think who we've been extra nice to recently, but since we're always nice to everyone, that's not really helped....

So, whoever the mysterious Old Blue is, we'd like to say thank you very much, they've really cheered up the office.

We found out who it was in the end, so the mystery is all solved!

Although, if anyone does want to devise a conspiracy which involves sending regular flowers to the CHA office, don't let me stop you!

Er, no.

My mother gets flowers on her birthday and for Mother's Day, but that's about it.

My Mrs. gets some from time to time as well, but there's not much point sending those via Interflora.

Maybe I won't relate the joke about the rather 'thick' guy who calls on his girl-friend with a bunch of flowers, then !

I wish someone would send me some flowers! I keep looking at the lovely bunches in Trashco's - but am not certain that it is the "correct" thing to do to buy yourself flowers - what does anyone else think?

Lots of people buy them for themselves, Jude. If you want them buy them!
