As for st matt's day well im afraid i have to work, as ive got week off at mo dont think bos would be too happy if i went back to work for 3days then wanted another day off!

That's probably something to do with it being a Wetherspoons and cheap and thus attracting the type of clientele who are maybe more concerned about the price of a pint than others - especially in the City. But then I've only been to a couple of dozen pubs in the City of varying styles and prices so my research isn't extensive.
