It is shaping up to be a really great day for all the family, and we hope to see you there.

Archbishop of Canterbury visits CH
Christ’s Hospital welcomed the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Revd. Rowan Williams, on Wednesday 14th March as the guest speaker at a morning service in the School Chapel. This was followed by a lively classroom debate, a tour of the School and a lunch with staff and pupils.

• Advise on the level and type of service to be provided
• Assist with events and activities where appropriate
You should have received further information on the role with your copy of Housey. If you have not received these details, or you would like to apply, please either request an application form from the CHA office or send in your CV with a note stating why you could make a strong contribution to the CHA. Please send all applications to the CHA Office by the extended deadline of 12th April 2007.

Barclay Hankin (ThA, LaB 1927 – 1936): An Appreciation
News of Barclay Hankin’s death was greeted by great sadness within the Old Blue community. Barclay was a generous supporter of Christ’s Hospital throughout his life, both as a Donation Governor and as the author of “In This Place”, a personal history of Christ’s Hospital which was sold to raise funds for the school. Find out more about Barclay and the fitting send off he received earlier on this month on the website at:

Thanks for reading, and do get in touch with your suggestions for any improvements to the CHA or enquiries you might have.

Warmest regards,

Zoë
