Although a long term "inmate" for some reason I noticed as I was about to log off that I wasn't logged in. (Normally I log in automatically but I had cleaned up my hard disk which erased that). Fine, but I had posted a number of messages which duly appeared.

Is this not a loophole - allowing anyone to post even if they are a guest?

I am logged on permanently at home, but not at work, and if I forget to log in and go to post it asks me to log in.

So it doesn't happen to me, well not at work anyway.

Did the things you posted show up as "Guest" as the username??

The logon info is stored in a local cookie on your machine, which perpetuates the logon.
Can't see any obvious "Guest" posts, but if you can point me to one then I can investigate....

I'm ALWAYS asked to log in before I can post.
