I have a mental switch in my head which enables me to ignore ads most of the time. Go ahead if it helps with funding.

Although if you happen to spot one you fancy clicking on, I'm sure that wouldn't be a bad thing ;)

Are they still there? I can't see any on my Apple i-book.

They should be there - on the main forum indexes, but NOT when you view an individual topic....

I'm hoping that if people find the advert interesting (and I'm sure they're worth a quick look most days?!?) then they'll click on the links.....

jt, please confirm that it is just by clicking on the link that we can raise a bit of money? I did 3 and it took less than a minute. How much is that?

It's by clicking on them that the money is generated, but we must not actively prompt people to click - i.e. you should only click if you're interested, so if you see something you like then don't hesitate to click!

They're not explicit on how much it is per click, but it'll be fractions of a penny I expect, thus relying on numerous clicks. I assume though that it's clever enough to ignore multiple clicks from the same user....

After a few weeks I should be able to see how much it's generating...

I've just logged on at work, and the ads are there. Perhaps my Apple doesn't accept them - any other Mac users out there?

We are on Mac, and they are there at the top of the index page.

This is actually raising a bit of cash - around $20 since start of December.

KEEP CLICKING ON THE ADS if you find them interesting and find them relevent to your interests.......

Rule number one of being a pedant: Don't make mistakes yourself

We have a friend who mispronunciated more than George Bush over 20 years ago and pendatic (ironically) is one of his words, so it's an IN joke in our circle, sorry.
