Quoting in posts

Gah! There seems to be a little confusion with the quote boxes!

When you press quote on a post it appears like this:

[quote=“palgsm93”]

I think palgsm93 is great

[/quote]

… you can type your reply here…

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you accidentally delete the [quote] tags whilst writing you can press ‘Edit’ on your new post and put them back in!

At the beginning of the post put: [quote=“the username of the person you're quoting”] - remember to put the username in speech marks!

However, if you’ve forgotten the username of the person you can just use: [quote]

At the end of any quote you need to put in: [/quote]

If you are quoting a post that already has two quotes or more in it there will be tags for each separate quote followed by end quotes for each one, the newer quote is listed first:

[quote=“god”] [quote=“palgsm93”]

Oh no you’re not! [/quote] – this ends the quote from god.

I think palgsm93 is great [/quote] – this end the quote from palgsm93.
