Ssurely ALL boys walk around with their hands down their trousers, and I'm not just talking about under 18's.

Or is it me?

It occurs to me to wonder whether silly boys still tell one another Rastus and Mary-Lou jokes at Christ's Hospital.

They weren't even funny thirty years ago, so I doubt they are now.

Can't imagine he'd have been very impressed, being of four-by-twoish descent himself.

And it'd have been damnably hard to explain it all away to him. 'A harmless tradition'? 'Not at all racist'? Sounds more like 'one rule for us and another rule for everyone else'. Seeing the verb 'to jew' in the dictionary ('swindle') makes me feel very uncomfortable - so really it's outrageous that perjorative Jew-terminology is still in use at CH.

Imagine if a tabloid picked up on it. To the outside world, CH'd look like some kind of school for trainee BNP-supporters.

And then there's that business of boys walking round with their hands shoved down the front of their trousers.......Try explaining that away.
Welcome back Jack ! Long time - No speak.

I think your comment refers to a Masonic type of symbol which shows that the hand-stuffer is probably destined to become a Tory member of the House of Lords !

Well mate, I was a hand-stuffer and I'm now a Labour Voter who lives nowhere near Clapham Common and I certainly wouldn't cruise around it at night looking for gay action if I did - so a fat lot of use I'd be as a Tory MP or Tory Lord.

As for being a Mason, one leaves that kind of thing to grammar school boys.

The bloke who got caught doing this was Welsh Labour M.P. Ron Davies, wasn't it?

I thought Tories were more into getting spanked by middle-aged ladies dressed as 'nanny' - a more indoor-type activity.

Thanks for enlightening us Richard. If I need any more information, I'll know where to................ !

I don't think so. It really was his excuse.

Real men don't join the Masons - only the narrow-horizon, local councillor types who only think in terms of boosting their status as big fish in small ponds.

As for Tories being big on fruity behaviour, I give you Steven Milligan MP, what accidentally strangled himself with a pair of tights whilst wearing women's undies. True blue.

Not that this has anything to do with Non-PC Terminology at CH, mind.

Never have been Mary, and never wanted to be. Had it offered a couple of times. Always something a bit seamy about secret Brotherhoods as far as I'm concerned.

So where is the Mason's lodge beneath Big School then...? I want to plant a bomb...

Anyway.

I think the greatest 'cause for concern' in the school for being un-PC is definitely the 'dubious' sexual orientations which people assume. Was full manhandling a fellow lad's rear-end acceptable and not frowned upon? Otherwise I'm in deep....
