I've had some random stuff through the post from them "Dear Ex-CH Scout" type thing asking for cash. Wasn't sure if was legit or just some cunning scheming type person trying to rip me off.

Good on him though. Sounds like a great adventure.

I didn't think the Club distributed addresses. I'd be annoyed if they'd given mine out whilst I was a member. Anyway - I think the chaps had got the address from a scout list somewhere - I'd moved at least four times (Uni et c) from the address they'd sent the "give us money" letter to.
