Good to hear that

BTW do you still have a trombone?

I have mine stashed away in the cellar and haven't played it for many years

Yep, but I don't get to play it much these days. I really ought to get some practise in.....

Sorry - thought it would be taken as a joke

I do have a different taste in music than that of my kids and we merrily take the michael out of eacothers favourites without anyone getting cross

However if I have frayed anyone's nerves I do apologise

It didn't offend me, I was just messing about.

No I didn't play the trombone, although I did try at a party in Streatham recently. Quite fun but singing's more my thing.

So releived (i before e except after c) to hear that you have a sense of H

Sometimes I do a silly post and manage to offend

Very glad not to have offended you

Kind of you to put my mind at rest

I have never offended Richard Ruck, the stalwart of this place with a great sense of H and in his time a fantastic trombone player

And the worlds best expert on Adge Cutler (don't ask)

p.s. have a look at the limericks section of this forum

There are some incredibly witty ones, and not only by me... :)

Nay, do not attribute the honour of master Limericker to huntertitus...that must surely go to DBTS!!!

I don't think I'd have got through CH without the good old GSOH.

I've read the potted history of Adge somewhere on here. As I've just mentioned somewhere else, it's amazing what you learn...

Will go off now and search for the limericks. Don't really do jokes (just evil humour, usually at others' expense :D ).
