Don't worry; I failed O Level Elementary Mathematics and eventually ended up with three different "O" levels in Elementary, Advanced and General Mathematics.fra828 wrote:Maths never was my best subject!!!!sejintenej wrote:(and not a wind-up in sight )NEILL THE NOTORIOUS wrote:Fra&2b --- you must remember it is a CH education in Maths !!

Re: Old Blues' Day : Who's going?
I really, really would like to come to Old Blues Day next year, and, whilst speaking to DBTS, he very kindly began to formulate a plan in which we in the West could travel to CH in his many-seated charabanc, book a Travelodge way, way ahead for budget cost and come back the next day! Sharing cost of fuel!
I thought I could contact the Old Girls I know'n'love in the West individually, but this is a very much in advance trawl!

Angela, don't forget you will also receive a 'special' invitation next year for "40 Years On", though you probably don't want to be reminded.

One can always hope but I hear that because of the number of events they are only going to publicise them in the email for the coming month. I already have appointments for November next year (2011), I need to book my crossings for next year early to get a good price so I need the date sooner rather than later.englishangel wrote:Angela, don't forget you will also receive a 'special' invitation next year for "40 Years On", though you probably don't want to be reminded.
What happens if a politician drowns in a river? That is pollution.
What happens if all of them drown? That is solution!!!

TBA and I have been away, cruising and then visiting in Wales, and also our latest Grandson..
There has, doubtless been great relief on this Forum.
However I return to find discussion on OBs Day for 2011 --- have I missed the date ? has it been published ? will I survive ?
Any answers to the first two would be appreciated
