Slipped under the OB radar?

One 'Notable Old Blue' who seems to have slipped under the radar is Mark Baker. Entering the school in 1973, he only lasted two or three years and his subsequent story, whilst almost certainly not shaped by his time at CH, is a testimony to the diversity of CH's intake.

Mark was in Leigh Hunt B and was a good sportsman, he played school team rugby and excelled at the javelin, to county standard. After he left CH he became one of the very first professional British skateboarders, a career which took him to the USA. Once that career was over, he re-invented himself as a nightclub impresario, even being referred to (perhaps sycophantically) as the "godfather of New York nightlife". Not your average Old Blue!

He's currently involved in Juliet night club in West Chelsea, New York......if you're passing!
