OBD 2012
I know it's still only December (even if it is the tail end) but who's planning on going to Old Blues' Day? I'm looking into it, and if I can get the time (it's smack in the middle of Deadline Week) I'm hoping to head down.
Incidentally, does anyone know of an easy place to stay Fri & Sat nights? I'm coming from Derbyshire and it's too far to go in a single day...

Re: OBD 2012
Hi
My DD is a current pupil, and alas I'm not an OB but as a local I thought I'd let you know that there is a recently opened Travelodge smack bang in the centre of Horsham and of course there is a Premier Inn near Horsham Station.
Hope this is of help.

TBA and I always stay with Mrs P Alway, in the CH end of Southwater.
Convenient to the Bax Arms for a pint.
This , may, of course , put you off !!
But her telephone number is 01403 730324
I usually send her a tenner, as a deposit

Don't spoil him, Mrs C. As an ex-member of 1st CH troop all he needs is a doorway or a bush to lie under. A 6am spray from the garden hose for realism wouldn't hurtMrs C. wrote:if you get REALLY stuck Josh, we have a garden and summerhouse!

Come on! On his pilgrimage, Josh even slept in public loos (well, in at least one)... so he is used to the underbelly of accommodation. A garden shed would be luxury to a lad like him..... (ONLY JOKING, Josh! Hope you find somewhere inexpensive but comfortable for Old Blues Day....you'd even be welcome - FOC - to the bed in my spare room, with a railway station right outside the door from where a train could deliver you to CH in a very short time)

Well there are the ones at the back of Coleridge...thanks Auntie J! I may take you up on that...this all depends on dates and work etc., but I'd really quite like to get there.kerrensimmonds wrote:Come on! On his pilgrimage, Josh even slept in public loos (well, in at least one
