and the Senior Grecian that never was...Adrian Chilvers who apaprently didged a train fare in the summer hols and so was demoted upon his return to CH ...

Fatty Churchill's (PB) dates are correct as is his succession after Peter Smith (PA).
Great guy. Didn't believe in discipline or punishment, thus very popular in PB.
Classics scholar and consequently a big favorite of Seaman's.
Near albino with a blush that turned his face fire engine red.
It was our duty as juniors to make him blush.
A plate dropped in front of him during grace achieved spectacular results.

Yes 1970 was Christopher Tremayne, and he was Col.B. I was in the same house at the time.
