I am considering attending the 1955 re-union. However I shall travel by train from Northumberland and will need an hotel overnight. I would appreciate a recommendation of a suitable venue for the Saturday night stay. Many thanks.

I cannot help John Saunders in his search for a hotel, but I stayed in a perfectly satisfactory yet simple B & B at Partridge Green, about 10 miles away. To stay there a car will be necessary. I can give more details if they are required. Many years ago there were cottages near to the CH Station which received guests. I don’t know if they still function in that way. John’s posting is the first I have heard of the 60 year reunion. When and where will it take place? Is there any preliminary programme available?
