Do would-be Houseyboys and Houseybints still have to undergo a gruelling stark-naked medical examination before being deemed Fit For Purpose? Or has that particular treat been done away with, along with plank beds, thirty-man dormitories and gruel?
Personally I hated my medical examination. When I took all my kit off, Dr Hoskins actually laughed at me. Can you believe that?
Way to f*** a kid up in the head, Dr H.
(I'm still traumatised.)
How was it for you?

Re: Pre-Entrance Medical Examinations
I was not traumatized, but embarrassed enough to tell my parents I hadn't had to take everything off. Which my father thought was extremely negligent of the doctor.
Mind you, in view of the fact that six months later we were all seeing each other stark naked every day and thinking nothing of it, I'm not sure what the fuss was about.

I honestly can't rememer the medical, so it can't have been that traumatic.

Dining-Hall, first day of first term. Dr. Scott said (and presumably wrote down) : "Fat Boy". Years of training to be that perceptive, of course!
