Peele playing fields - Shelley's Wood - Sharpenhurst.
I thought it was quite amusing. Presumably taken on OB's day. A Peele OB eschewing lunch in the Dining Hall to share with his wife some memory from the 1920s or 30s. - Was it a boundary, a try, a steeplechase triumph or just sharing a packet of No.6 ciggies in the bird sanctuary?
The Guardian article says the photographer was a pal of OB street photographer Tony Ray-Jones so perhaps it was her version of his famous Glyndebourne photo.
