Old Holborn versus Golden Virginia Red Green or Blue Rizlas

Anything that doesn't fit anywhere else, but that's still CH related.

Well, I was beginning to wonder what "Sweet Jane" had to do with it!

By the way, I last saw said musician being a 'children's entertainer' in the Carfax in Horsham many years ago......

He seemed to have recovered from the dunking!

first smoke

Post by Thornton chimp »

My first cigarette was in prep break on my GE outside the back of THA in the copse. I went green and had to go straight to bed where i chucked up and was ill for 24hrs, lovely stuff. Blue Rizlas and drum were probably my most consistent combination, and not to sound like a **** but giving up smoking was the best thing i ever did with my life. Smoking is like being with a woman you can't resist but you know is going to sleep with your best friend. Beware of Amber leaf.
I still live in Shellys wood.

Strangely enough, I was introduced to menthol cigarettes by my housemistress in 5's, who used to share her ciggies with me if there was no-one else around. She smoked St Moritz, but I could only afford Consulate myself.

I should add this was the housemistress who arrived when I was in the UVI - after a succession of weirdoes, 5's finally got a sane, nice, young, enlightened housemistress in my final year!

Previously I remember skipping Sunday morning chapel and smoking under my bed in my cubey, with the windows open to get rid of the smell. The housemistress at the time, a basically ok but slightly volatile woman, came up a bit later and was at my cubey door talking to me when I noticed she suddenly smiled for no reason. She didn't explain why, but after she'd gone I noticed a fag end on the floor, which she'd obviously seen but kindly decided to ignore

Finally gave up the evil weed in my late twenties and don't miss it one bit.
