Clements Theory - E-Learning Grade 5 Music Theory

Post by Tim »

Hi all,

I have recently set up an online business, teaching people music theory: Clements Theory (http://www.clementstheory.com) - specifically for the Associated Board Grade 5 Theory exam, which is compulsory for anyone who wants to take grade 6 or above on their instrument.

The site features very comprehensive study guides on all the topics in the exam (written by yours truly!) and also thousands of practice questions in the style of the ones found in the exam itself. There are interactive tools allowing students to track their relative progress in different topics, and we also have lots of tips on how to answer the questions in the exam, a blog featuring articles of interest to music students, and a "Q & A" forum to answer specific questions.

The site is suitable for students to use in their own time, and can also be used by teachers to monitor a group of their pupils, or alternatively for a school to offer free access to all their music students.

Lastly, but not leastly, we have a referral scheme for peripatetic music teachers. Basically, we give you a special code, and if one of your students signs up using that code then they get a discount, and you get a (financial!) referral reward.

And seeing as this is the CH Forum ... I'm sure many of you will realise why I called the site Clements Theory. I have tried to get in touch with the great man himself, but I've not had any luck. I would like to thank him for teaching me and to show him what I've done with myself! So if anyone can put me in touch, I'd be grateful.

Thanks for reading this!

Cheers,
Tim.

P.S. I'd be very happy to receive any feedback on the site! either via this forum or by email (tim@timbenjamin.com).
