I wrote this 50 weeks ago - I'm sure he's collected her by now!

We had 4 terms at Hertford, Mid August to Mid October was the first, so we returned to school in October just as our siblings were starting half-term.

did it remain 4 terms until the merger?

They are photos of the building half built from various angles as far as I remember

Hmmm, and I seem to remember the theatre being built from the ground upwards.

Perhaps they had tried the other angles before I arrived at C.H., and decided to revert to traditional methods.

I was reminded the other day (as it was on TV) of Barnes B's production of The Happiest Days of Your Life (1975ish). Somewhere I have a photo or two - - I haven't worn stockings since then....

mmmm not a lot of creativity in Barnes B then, we did it in 1982/3 too!

I have a good range of photos for DNP productions from about 1984/5 - 1989 including....

Bugsy Malone, Midsummer Nights Dream, The Sea, Winters Tale (inc the German tour), Jungle book, Alice in Wonderland, and those wierd reviews he used to do. As well as the Mid A performance of Arsenic and Old Lace, Those are the ones I can remember anyway. If I ever get round to finding the photos I'll stick a few up.

My son wonders why I know all the words, actions and moves to 'Bare Necessities' when he is watching Jungle Book, although he does a far better impression of King Louie than I do.

(Sorry for those of you for whom this does not make sense, you had to be there!)

I seem to remember DNP making you f**k the stage during rehearsals to try and lose your inhibitions so you could really 'get in to' the character of Baloo the bear...happy days. I have a photo of you in the costume. How much NOT to post it?
