The thing is, now I've gone off the pictures I took, and need to re-do them. I note that, although you have posted photos, you haven't even got an avatar! So chiz, chiz, chiz as we used to say.

Please could we have this as a static topic at the top of the CH Photos forum? Every time I want to upload photos it takes me ages to find the instructions. I know not all photos end up in the Photos forum but it seem the most obvious place for the instructions.jtaylor wrote:How to post pictures

I find that in every forum I go to there are always new people who aren't sure how to get pictures as part of their message. You should have a mini tutorial somewhere. Simply:
- register at http://www.photobucket.com
- click browse and find your picture on your harddrive
- click upload
- copy the link underneath the photo the link should look like
- paste that into your message, and the image will appear.
If you want an image for your signature or avatar, then you simply copy the link without the [img] tags. Pretty sure that's how you do it.

OK, I've followed this to the letter, but if I try to post anything it seems to appear minus the right hand third or so of the image.jtaylor wrote: - register at http://www.photobucket.com

Any ideas? Something to do with the original size of the picture, perhaps?

7 years later is it really not possible to upload a photo directly from my pc to chforum? Photobucket really doesn't like me, and I have to say the feeling's mutual.jtaylor wrote:How to post pictures
