Where are the confessions regarding Sex 'n' Drugs 'n' Rock 'n' Roll, with special regard to Substance Abuse? Don't say that there are no more!
Please, gentlemen? Unless there are any more of us HOBS with shocking secrets? (It always amazed me that the mystery friend of Mary V managed to coax a Herbal Cigarette from (was it?) a groundsman! Or have I got the story wrong?
"Baldrick, you wouldn't recognise a cunning plan if it painted itself purple, and danced naked on top of a harpsichord singing "Cunning plans are here again.""
No, you've got it right. And like Judy Furnival, she was always in trouble at Hertford and now has a Masters in social work (does JF have a PhD?) specialising in troubled teens.

I did get a bit irate on my deps when I walked back into my study at the front what would have been the day room in LHA to find someone creating a joint in full view of the window which looked onto the masters path. I can't rmemebr if it was just before or after the big scandal just that it was a bright sunny day and i didn't want the hassle of trying to prove it was nothing to do with me.
We used to smoke in (and homebrew in the loft over) the darkroom behind the manual school, you had a perfect excuse not to open the door, it had an extractor and lots of smelly chemicals. The loft had obviously been used for similar purposes in the past as there were loads of players weights packets and some 1970's vintage magazines up there

BTW if anyone else remembers Forum, my GP at Uni and my Genetics lecturer were both on the editorial team, Dr Phil (the PIll) Cauthery and Dr Martin Cole who was particularly interested because my boyfriend was an identical twin, did I fancy his brother? NOOOOOO
"If a man speaks, and there isn't a woman to hear him, is he still wrong?"
I didn't susbscribe to Forum, but my younger brother did. I remember one seminal (?) family evening when, on the day that my mother had found this magazine and others hidden under my brother's mattress, we sat down to tea. My mother said to my father 'Bill.. don't you have to say something to David about ''those' magazines.....?' and, bless him, my dad said 'Oh, those? No I have'nt had time to read them yet.....'
I did get caught hiding one of my brother's stash; younger elder brother, hiding them from elder elder brother, tucked them in my attache case - off back to 2s and astounded to discover a little bundle of A5 sized 'Health & Efficiency' (which I actually think was a nudist magazine) - god knows where he got them from as if I was about 11 he would have been about 14! I know they ended up being passed all around the dorm for close examination and then being passed back to me just in time for me to be pounced upon and ssent to stand in front of DR to explain myself. I take great pride in the fact that I didn't tell and got into loads of trouble including DR calling home - my poor Mum, can you imagine! !

Definitely not.
