My surname is Hopgood and at CH I was smaller than the rest of my year. I inherited a nickname from Mike Hilliard and then my brother took it one when I left.
Anyone guess my nickname, and if so, it's origin?

I used to claim that Derek Underwood (ex England spin bowler for members under about 45) was my uncle. Nobody believed me.

Under Milk Wood was only ever used by staff... now there's a surprise!

'Hilliard' is confusing me - presumably it has nothing to do with your name...?

No, he was just the previous "owner" of the nickname.
I have actually "googled" it but the result gives me no clue to its origin, which led me to believe that it was exclusive to Housey.

Then I give up!
